The CIRS Group Podcast

CIRS, or Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome, can happen to 25% of the population and is usually triggered by a biotoxin in the environment, like mold, red tide, lyme (tick bite), and even some medical interventions. Those with CIRS are susceptible to these toxins and cannot clear them on their own. Thankfully, treatment is possible, but given that people suffering with CIRS have difficulty processing new information, we created The CIRS Group and now, this podcast, to help people better understand and identify this treatable illness. Jacie is a 3 year carnivore, certified nutrition coach, and carnivore recipe developer determined to share the life changing information of carnivore and CIRS to anyone who will listen. Barbara is a wealth and wellness coach, 2 year carnivore and a big fan of health and freedom. Along with Jacie, she co-founded The CIRS Group, an online support community to help people that are struggling with their CIRS diagnosis.

CIRS, or Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome, is an illness that can cause us to dissociate from our own bodies, as a way of self-protection. If you are far enough along with your healing, it can become important to rebuild that connection and tune in to what your body needs and feels, so that you can heal fully and completely. Today, we dive into this topic, covering some of the challenges of mindfulness as well as strategies and methods you may want to try. CIRS, or Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome, is a chronic illness and the only clinically proven path to healing is through the Shoemaker Protocol. Today, we are tackling the tricky topic of medication and supplement timing. CIRS, or Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome, is a chronic illness that occurs in 25% of the population that gets exposed to environmental toxins like mold, red tide, spider or tick bites, and even some vaccines and viruses. Today, we have a special return guest Dr. Christian Navarro-Torres, and we are going off script, away from the clinically proven path for healing from CIRS with the Shoemaker Protocol: Exploring the potential for good that comes in the form of pure Nicotine. This may be a controversial topic - but as always, this is not medical advice! We are exploring the possibilities for treatment in the future and hopefully opening the conversation around alternative methods to help the body recover from CIRS. More research is needed, but it’s fun to play “what if.” For more information, support, and resources in your own CIRS healing journey, visit TheCIRSGroup.com

CIRS, or Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome, is a complicated illness that usually requires costly treatment and remediation. Insurance rarely covers it, and because CIRS can cause us to work less (or less optimally) it turns into a bad cycle. This is why we’ve tackled today’s topic: What you can do for as little money as possible now, while you wait to save up for your first appointment with a CIRS literate practitioner. This episode focuses on OTC options and lifestyle changes you can do, not as a replacement for treatment, but as a way to feel as good as you can before starting treatment.
